Continuing
Medical Education
GAMA has been accredited by the New Mexico Medical Society to provide
Continuing Medical Education for physicians. The CME Committee reviews applications for joint
sponsorship on a continuing basis.
Note: In order for an application to be
reviewed by the CME Committee meetings, a completed application must be submitted to the Committee at least
eight weeks prior
to the scheduled CME program (electronically submitted applications are
preferred but not required). A completed application must include:
the application, CV's for all faculty members, financial disclosures for
all faculty and Planning Committee members and, if potential conflicts
are indicated on the forms for any faculty or Planning Committee
members, you need to call GAMA to discuss the potential conflict prior
to submitting the application because additional information will be
required. The only exception for materials which must be included
in the application are "Letters of Agreement for Commercial
Support" which will need to be submitted when the support
is granted.
The application
has been revised as of January 2009.
