A one-day intensive program that trains physicians how to be effective policy advocates in the realm of medicine. The program is designed to give physicians the opportunity to learn how to effectively engage and ultimately impact health care policy at the New Mexico State Legislature.
The program will equip participants with the knowledge, skills and relationships necessary to positively impact policy at the State Capitol. The Physician Policy Academy is designed by policy and healthcare experts specifically for members of GAMA.
